One thing science teaches us is that there is no such thing as race. Race is a human construct created by people just to group different populations.

What I mean by "there is no such thing as race" is that there is no gene in our DNA that denotes one group of people from another by race. In that you won't find a gene in all "white people" that is unique to only them, thus making them scientifically into a unique group. And you won't find a gene in all "black people" that makes them different from other humans. In fact ALL humans are 99.99% the same genetically. All our external differences are just a result of .01% difference. And even within the slight genetic variation, people from even the same tribe can be MORE different from one another than people on the other side of the world.

Scientists have done DNA testing on people all around the world and have found out that SOMETIMES a Kikuyu man in Kenya can be GENETICALLY more similar to a white man in Sweden than Luo man living across the street from him in Kenya. Thus you can't really say there is a SCIENTIFIC basis for grouping people into large racial groups based on their external features. Our whole society is really grouped in nothing more than our ignorance based on what we see on the outside. Realistically there is nothing within us that really denotes one group from another.

And on your point about Somali culture being more closely related to Arab culture than other African cultures is WRONG. Certain Arab groups are similar in culture to Somalis BUT so are certain African groups. Shit there are even Greeks who are closely related to Somalis in culture. But that is only because our culture is just a byproduct of the environment we live in.

Most Somalis are nomadic pastorals which is similar to Bedouin Arabs (not all Arabs) but the Masai of Kenya and Tanzania are also pastoral nomads and live similar to Somalis.

I'm the last REAL Somali in the sense that I'm one of the last few with a true sense of our identity and social consciousness. Most Somalis right now are either brainwashed by the West and adopting their culture and thinking, or the middle east and becoming Arabized. I prefer we Somalis stay ourselves and return to our cultural roots. Our cultural roots are indigenous.
