Are you Issa yourself?
I have read Richard Burton's book, as well as many others. I know that Issa consider themselves to be Madoobe Dir, I want to understand that relationship and where it comes from, I'm not looking to disprove it or mock it or otherwise disrespect it.
Issa genealogy is more complex than most, and I am trying to make sense of it, nothing more.
How far back does your abtiris go? Does it only go back 10 generations as was claimed previously?

As for the others yes there is an Abgaal subclan and no they arent related to the Abgaal's from Xamar. Its like Samaroon who have Makhail while both Isaaq and Ogaden also have it.

I know Abgaal arent a minority i miss wrote and my grandmother is reer Mamsan and she as hell doesnt count 10 generation to Issa. am gonna ask her the entire family genelogy once she is back.
