That's why I said they should take it to where it matters i.e. the regions you mentioned and not in places that have no Ethiopians. AU will leave just like Ethiopia left. Instead of wasting their resources on a few AU troopers holed up at the airport, that energy & resource is better spent elsewhere. Most of the casualties are Soomaalida anyways, so what does that achieve in the long term? The world has changed, its time to try a new tactic and retire the same old brute mentality. Without truly giving-up, these same goals can be attained with class and inexpensively. Adaptation is what is needed.Unclebin- wrote:When did Jihad became over?
When ethiopians 'left'
Isn't Dolow and Jawiil still occupied?
Even if they left aren't the ethiopians still in Somaali Galbeed?
Aren't the kenya's still in NFD? Or do you think this is exceptable?
Or do you think they willl get this land back through the 'international' community and 'diplomacy'
When did they turn their weapons on each other? Have shabaab attacked xisbi islami?
The only group they have attacked is the AU and they are certainly not muslim let alone 'mujahideen'

Re: SHILKA The poet
we see the world through diffrent lences,i understand the main concern alot of our country men have.I also see where the mujahdiin are coming from, they dont view ethiopia and amisom troops diffrently.to them waa dameer and his 2 ears.Kolombo wrote:We all want to be ruled by the Shariah & live under Islamic caliphate (all God fearing Muslims should have this desire). We tried to attain it in 2006, and eventhough it was messy, it was still better than the alternative. We know the disaster that followed and the thousands who died in the process. I've supported Al-shabaab since their creation, but I've come to realize their vision of a future Somalia will likely never materialize. When it comes to fighting in Jihad & fighting to establish the Shariaah, I've an obligation to support them as a Muslim.new-york24 wrote:i hear this over and over again by so many people.ma xuma every soul is entitled to its opinion.but than the quetion remains,do we look to the west(the main couse of muslim suffering) to dictate what is islam and whats not?
But when they start finger-pointing & accusing other Muslims of kufr and refusing to give peace a chance, then that's a problem. Ethiopia is gone, AU will probably leave, Shariif has repeatedly said he will rule by the Shariah. Let's give the man a chance before he's accused of being a murtad. There's no more Jihad in Somalia. Whoever that dies fighting for Al-shabaab or other groups will die because of fitna. Let's give the thousands who have suffered for over 2 years a chance at recovery.
I would love to live in a Muslim caliphate, but with the way things are in the world today, that seems somewhat far-fetched. Let's play their games, let's try diplomacy & swallow our pride. Then once we reach where we want to, the remaining warlords & lackeys can be dealt with and we can give the middle-finger to everyone else. We fought & we attained many goals, now is the time to try a different strategy.
My 2 cents.
waxa la isku heysto waa "have we reached our goal" the answer is no.
yet the mujahdiin are being more than reasnoble to the guy that was rescued by the same enemy he declared war on,a war that they(mujahdiin)had to suffer for, while he slept like a princess at night.
yet this is their only demand.
turki..""Shariifka laba shay kaliya ah ayaan kula talinayaa oo ah inuu si cadaan ah u sheego inuu wadanka Shareeco ku xukumayo iyo inuu qoladan Afrikaanka ah ee la Maraykanku uu soo lug gooyay uu u sheego inay wadamadoodii ku noqdaan. Hadduu Shariifku sidaas yeelo aniga ugu horeeya cid taageerta"
we do know why he wont addres those two issues.
