Inshallah khair bey noqon.
I don't know about your conspiracy theories but I can tell you one thing that I am sure of and that is no external force pressured Sh Sharif to pick the new PM. He did so out of his own judgment despite the advice of his advisers and that's why I have lost all respect for him.Sagaashan wrote:TL,
my point. like Murax said, the wadaad's judgment failed when he accepted to rule through orders. their is no somali government, this is a UN run government. We are acting like this guy is indepedent and is making decisions on his own. if you approved his appointment by the UN, C/rashid was also approved by the same body.

That's the reality. I just hope he hasn't goofed on this one. He was handed a golden opportunity.Murax wrote:Kolombo if thats the case then this is another version of Dawlada Cabdiqassim. The only difference is Shabab etc. are 20x stronger than the Mogadishu Warlords Cabdiqassim got opposition from.
The announcement was delayed by few hoursSagaashan wrote:TL,
if it makes you feel better, from what was being considered, i didnt think there were any good options. the announcement was delayed for a reason, but i think the best man one. like the Admin said on the other thread, Sh. sharif came from the ICU and C/rashid from the West. If he could have picked anyone known the sheikh, i think he would have picked another sheikh. this might also have deprived the Sharif of not just picking someone to fill the 4.5 gap but someone he can trust and rely on.

If he fails, he has himself to blame.
