As for me... eating a bar of chocolate publicly in the streets appearantly it goes against islam as well for women to eat publicly in the streets.

i think they can eat, but is not liked very much. of course if a girl is hungary, she can eat, but the importance is, HOW she eats. you cant just walk down the street with chip and burger in one hand and fanta in the other! thats a no no in my opinion. so ciyaala suuqnimo especially when you physically look muslimah! but if she does go into them fast foor take aways and eats, that ok i guess!!

'Publicly in the streets'... with that I meant in the middle of the suuq eating a sandwich/burger or some chips or crisps for that matter. I don't mean eating in restaurants etc. In all honesty sis I don't know where or what it says in the quran in relation to this topic but when I used my common sense I kind of understood why when I was told so. Its not in the muslimah's etiquette to eat food in the middle of the suuq publicly...whilst wearing the Islamic dress code... it's magaalo joog xumo

You guys might think I am a freak for saying this as well... but I also heard that 'heel's that make noise is not allowed/ but before I get attacked I have nothing to back it up with... apparently the noise it makes attracts people's attention including/especially men and therefore its like sort 'beautifying yourself to attract male attention' I don't know, maybe people who have more knowledge than me can elaborate on this.
