Re: Best Investment I have ever made
What would 300 pounds come out to in dollars?
Re: Best Investment I have ever made
US products are substandard, inferior and low quality. Foreign (Asian & European) products outsell local products and dominate the US market. That goes for automobiles, electronics, cellphones, construction materials, etc. The US imports far more than it exports, and the main reason is, its low quality and high priced products cannot compete with the high quality and low priced products of foreign countries. If you want to get a firsthand experience of the US' low quality products, compare a Motorola smartphone to a Nokia (or other foreign brands) one.FAH1223 wrote:the US produces and exports many things
the manufacturing exports was booming till everything was outsourced
we now have software and clean energy initiatives that will be profitable
USA > UK

Good. I hope the sterling keeps going down. I owe money to people in the UK.Executive wrote:QansaGabeyle wrote:What would 300 pounds come out to in dollars?

Dawwa the UK are the leading country in the service sector. They have moved away from primary and manufacturing sector decades ago.
Exective saxib take part in the forex thread in the business section. I remember last summer i went to paddington (best exchange rates) in London a good five times exchanging pounds into dollars for family members. I wish i exchanged all my savings, walahi i might of been 10k better off. But that is the nature of global currencies, the deflate and fluctuate. I'm pretty sure the Pound will more than recover.
