Advo,

I can agree that papaya, mango and banana were common in the larger towns in the South, but they didn't get past Afgoye going north or very far further inland. There were liin trees in the irrigated gardens in Beledweyn, but that was it. I must admit though that I never got to Lugh or the upper Jubba.

Watermelon was very rare. I never did see any kind of berry available commercially.

Mango is plentiful in Upper Jubba. Just had family visit and theres mango farms everywhere. You eat free too even to this day :up:
