i know that spursman, but you have to realise when someone is need of help, you should help them regardless who they are. of course im not saying they were right in following them, but had they had better/stronger community to help them when they were "lost" maybe they would think about joining/marrying these people twice. i know this one girl who just started to come back to the deen, she stopped me and asked me where the mosque and if im going she could go there with me and i could show her how to pray. (remember she's somali). and when i said to her, sis im not heading for the mosque now, gotta meet up someone, but ill show u where it is, and at this time there are somali women in there they could show u how to pray. she was like no no, i dont want to ask a somali lady anything, last time i asked her they laughed at my face, and said naa soo ina hebel hebel matihid. they dont take me serious. they think im doing it as a joke.
Dude thats just mean, i felt so bad for her, i had to take her with me to my appointment just so i could show her how to pray and introduce her to the rest of the crew.

this is the kinda ^things that make me realise, our community isnt as strong and close together as they should be.

i know man!!! is annoying, the worst thing is, some of these girls have (or had) good life, way better than what they would have when they marry a revert. i dont know if u live in lodnon, but few yrs waxaa dhacay wax layiraahdo, revert fever. somali girls want to marry them revert all of a sudden. but what i annoyes me most, is the b'ham stories thats been happening lately, man these salafi are too extreme, they need to be stopped, someone should stand up to them. these girls on their own are powerless as well as brainless. every yr a miskiin girl who dont know jack about the religion will join them, thinking that she found everything they were looking for, love and diin all at once. little do they know what they getting themselves into.

Adan_1:- I think I know which Masjid you're talking about. I've heard a lot about these groups. They brainwash you and they prey on the weak and vulnerable, you're either with them or against them, there's no middle path. They're so extreme. There's no mercy and no sense of compassion - it's so strict. It's like a cult, and they have a cult mentality. I know of two Somali sisters who married one of these people, and I can't write here want they went through - it's just unimaginable.

You guys think these girls are silly and naive, but you don't know what it's like until you've been through it, once they got you, they got you. Nothing else makes sense to you.
