Kolombo,

I will look more into this. I was eating hilib with some Dariiqa recently and I will follow up with them next time they are back in town.

I do remember the wadaads telling me to settle down and avoid the dangers of zina.

Nobleman,

Jazakallah, your post gave me hope unlike Sheik Kolombo, "Doom N Gloom"

I dont understand girls. For example Nalia and others seem disgusted at the thought of an unknown man asking for their hand in marriage, in what seems to be in a honourable way. However at the same time the crave a man that is religious, God fearing and clean.

So girls do you expect a man to approach you without a mahram and do you beleive you will get married this way? confused

Saxib i'm trying to look at it in an islamic prespective. What do you mean get to know the person? contacting the mahram or directly. Rememer a male and female who are unrealted are not meant to court one another.

lol, that's probably how all our parents got married. There's nothing wrong with it. Trust me, it's for your own safety and peace of mind. Bear in mind, your family will also do a thorough background check on the person - and they'll find out if he is a man of his word..

So all these seasoned players (fornicators/adulterors) who when they retire from the game want to settle with a young "virgin" have invalid marriage....no?
Seriously, this is prevalent in some men.....
