I can cook... Baaris macan badhan iyo maraqiisa. I also do pasta aiyo soup easily.

I never cook with hilib though... I either buy them from the soamli restaurant or don't eat it all.... I hate meat and soup mix. I can't stomach it. :x :cry: I just like them separate. Also... My malawax is good and I need a bit practice with the Canjeero.

If Sambus, Mandazi and shish-kabab are considered somali dishes then I am not bad at them...


and NO! i am not a girl, I am dude. The only reason I mention this is because I know a lot of fools will claim they best they can do is shah or some other bullshit.

Wrong word...I meant cornstarch...to thicken the concoction.

My friends from Congo call both the cornstarch and the cornmeal "Semoule" so I got it mixed up with semolina :up:

im hopeless at Somali cooking kimis iyo laxoox..maba aqaan..they seem like hard work..so my mother makes them..waxa kale i know like bariis (several kinds) baasto..and several other dishes from around the world
