Somaliland government celebrate it big time. Of course it lost some value but the day is regarded sagnificantly in back home. However, it's hard to respect it when we GAVE it way in five days...

According to US, SOMALILANDERS, we gave it away....and if you know anything about Somaliland history pre-independence, the British was against the idea of unification. Thanks to adoyadadii bilaa caqliga ahaa ee SNL we didn't listen and the highest post we got it out of it was the speaker of the house.

Of course it was a gift for you guys since we brought civilization into your community.
