There are oppressions against them, yes. But that is not something unique to them. The Chinese State is an atheist one and discourages religion. Compared to other religions, Islam is given more flexibility. But if you are talking about this specific incident, then you are wrong. 153 out of the 200 that died were Han Chinese.

I am not wrong..from the news reports i read and the Amnesty International accounts ..the recent clashes erupted after the death of Two Uighur factory workers..there was a peaceful demonstration after the police failed to act and investigate and that got nasty after it was violently suppressed..resulting in many casualties.

Though what China is doing is wrong, what makes this thread interesting is that most of the people are proud supporters of the United States and the U.K and have never condemned the actions of their host nations against muslims.
