While it's positive to be optimistic, it's prudent to be prepared for disappointments. It's also prudent not to put too much faith in Obama's ability to reform something. Ask yourself this; are you better (i.e. financially, stress-wise, etc) today than when Bush was the chief commander?

I was doing well during Bush admin, and I'm fine now too alxamdulilah. The gas is certainly better priced this summer than last year.
