Puntland has peace because it houses one sub clan of Darod. Its like me claiming Caynabe has peace and that the whole of somalia should use the system of government from this town and apply to the whole of somalia. The sole reason Puntland has peace is because its populated largely by one clan, within them they have an agreement to pass power around between them. Thats it its democracy, elections or one man one vote has been replaced with the majerteen musical chairs. Somalia is to complicated for the mejerteen musical chairs, but if you feel like your making progress maybe you should let a none majrteen take charge...

Puntland has goals ahead of it. Where-as sland doesn't except recognition drives, while 1 million are starving. Puntland lives in reality and is trying solve somalia problems because we are losing out on investments continuing due to the political problems we are all suffering. To the world somalia is just somalia and that is why puntland realized that and knows rather then just ignore it like sland has, it is doing its damn hardest to solve it, and they have been rfewarded for that by america recently and the e.u who are now firm allies of that state.

It is not how diverse your ppl are that makes u successul, it is government that represents ur ppl and the way they carry themselves in the world stage that makes u successful. Smart politicians score big things for their regions, where-as dumb politicians go around begging for recognition when they been refused many times.
