i am offended that you call yourself a somali
Re: Egg in your Hair?????
Serena. I have only know one Somali girl in my life and that was an ex roommate I had a few years back so I can’t give expert testimony to Somali hair type.Serena wrote:
Most Somali girls I know either relax their hair and use black styling products or have weaves/extensions, so I think the notion that most Somalis have "soft hair" is bullshit. It grows @ a faster rate , but it's far from soft.
She didn’t have very kinky hair but she didn’t have silky wavy hair either. It was close to that of the texture of Obamas daughters. In other words it was not very nappy but still needed some moisturizer oil and a wide toothed comb.

Re: Egg in your Hair?????
That's pretty much the average hair texture, but Somalis will try to convince you that we have hair texture similar to that of South Asians.razzberry wrote:Serena. Somalis hair is nowhere near Southeast Asians.
I will say one thing though, I did get a lot of hair caressing from tha sistas in middle & high school but hair does get a bit nappier w/ age.

i didn't know such thing existed, but what's it called do u remember?
Re: Egg in your Hair?????
I’ll take your word for it. When I first came here people tried to convince me that all Somalis were of a clear nutmeg complexion unless they were Bantu. After Somalis began making news head lines a year ago proving they were in color ranging from brown to blick people stopped singing that tune lol.Serena wrote: That's pretty much the average hair texture, but Somalis will try to convince you that we have hair texture similar to that of South Asians.

Re: Egg in your Hair?????
your constant use of the term ''jareer'' shows your insecurities. this topic is useless without pics, so do us a favor and show us how 'unjareer' you are. either that or kindly stfu.S-D-M wrote:SORRY jareeristan farac ima galinSerena wrote:i guess we have different definitions of "soft".![]()
