I dislike anyone who tries to convince a Issaq about Somaliweyn esp. the Hawiye. I was at this coffee shop with some other fellow students: 2 Hawiye, one Issaq and 2 darood. The hawiye guy (his mom was Darood) accused the Issaq guy of being somalidiid because he did not want to join the Somali day celebrations. I told him to leave Issaq guy alone and to respect his views. My concern with Somaliland was that it did not behave like a proper state: securing its borders, and keep its citizens from interfering inside Somalia's affairs (poking fun at the Jabertis from Puntland). After the conversation, the Issaq guy follows me outside and asks, "War saxiib, ya tahay ?" I told him I was Habarti Konfur ku dhuntey. He laughed and asked why I didn't talk to the Hawiye guy to stop being antiSomaliland. I told him that I did not support Somaliland but would never put an Issaq down in front of a Jaberti.
