I was in fourth grade. Naturally, I was more preoccupied with the Backstreet Boys, and sh-t.
I went to a private Islamic school in New York; we were given the rest of the week off.

Ugh, don't mention the SAT.
Apparently, only 1% who take the SAT English Literature test get an 800.
If you miss eight, you're at a 650.
If I were to get fifty-five right and only miss EIGHT, I'd have a 650. A 650!
The grading is HARSH.
I feel like canceling it.

The ACT's are waaay Midwestern . I used to always secretly wonder if not all those schools far East or West tossed application with its scores into the Bin
. U'll just need a Clean 20, and U'd be Good!

lol...of course the American College Test is a nationally accepted one, but the majority of schools seemed to accept the SAT's, or have a pref, for them. I had to do both for some of the schools I was applying to.S-D-M wrote:Amethyst wrote:The ACT's are waaay Midwestern . Amethyst, I took it last year and got a 27. (I didn't take a single practice test, and I was like, 'wtf, there's a SCIENCE portion?' So that threw me off.)Amethyst wrote:The ACT's are waaay Midwestern. And I spent the week moping around, being depressed.
My mother's reaction: My poor daughter's handicapped.

My father's reaction: Why don't you ever study?! WHY?!

A 27's a good score; it's in the 90th percentile. However, I need to get in the 30s.
I'm pretty sure I can do it. If I can get a 27 without finishing the Science portion, I'm sure I can get a 30 now that I've figured out how to pace myself.
So, Inshallah, I'll get a 31.
If I don't, I'm re-taking that sh-t.

Ur a little hard worker good for you. I winged the SAT's, kinda, didn't really do that well, but yet again it was the first or second year they introduced that stupid writing portion.ire. wrote:Amethyst, I took it last year and got a 27.
