Listen suufi, I will address you once. I am not saying I am a perfect human, nor have I ever said I am a reflection of the followers of Ibn Taymiyaa or the Salaf, or the best Muslim in general. I have my own demons to fight, be it the cultural teachings of the west or what the Somali society has imposed on me, both jahiliya. However, in my quest to better myself, I am going to learn about the religion fully and follow the scholars, peoples, who were great Muslims and tried to be the closest to true Islam, and followed the sunnah of the Prophet.

Now, I have no problem with the original meaning of suufi, someone completely leaving materialism for the sake of Allah and replacing it with worship. However, what is evident is that most people who align themselves to sufism, do that by means of innovation. How can they worship Allah in ways the Prophet (scw) and the three generation after did not? Bidca dwellers weeye.

In my quest of total submission to Allah and his ways, I would rather learn hadiths, quran, tafsiir, and follow the path of the Prophet and the salaf, instead of chanting xadra while mixing with opposite sex, sometimes chewing khat, dwelling from grave to grave, and asking dead shiekhs/saints to be intermediaries between me and my lord as if I am Catholic.

I do not agree in the quick labeling of murtad, I do not support the Saudi Government, I do not think Al-shabab and co are the most pious people.

SADE IBNU TAYMIYAH, it would be a great name, and I would be honored to be the son of Taymiyah too brother, nothing wrong in that. A great NOBLE-SCHOLAR.
