In no particular order:

Fernando Torres
Samuel Eto
Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Wayne Rooney
Didier Drogba

Rooney is a f-king beast. He's a grafter and top top player. Anyone who says otherwise is either anti-England or just blatantly hates the lad.

Yes currently i'm in America but I grew up holland watching and playing football all my life, back in the days I used to play 2nd division team as junior a team in my city called Telstar/strom vogels one noteable player before me was jimmy floyd Hasselbaink, now my footbal knowledge and skills are much superior then yours, that is not the case but let me tell you something about Fabiano & Ibro

Zlatan Ibro was top scorer last seaon in the Serie A
Fabiano was top scorer in confederation cup which brazil won also recently he scored 2 goals against strong Argentina few days.

Tell me something spectacular that Rooney achieved on the field, except scoring weak goal against Croatia and lucky goal against Totterham?

In all honesty you cannot compare ibro and fabiano with wayne rooney. Are you claiming Englands best player is mediocre? Also both serie A and la liga were poor last season. This is rooney's first season as a center forward and the results dont lie. Your a typical somali/yank in the sense that you rate highly what is pretty to the eye, but that were your footie knowledge is weak, as you should know theres more to a world class player than technical ability.

Have ibro and fabiano won the champions league and reached 2 finals and a semi in the last 3 years? Also rooney is much younger and more proven than both strikers.

Also apprantley every dutch somali played for a 'semi professional team when they were younger' lol.

 Exactly people like mogul see one of ibrahimovic spectacular 15 league goals on youtube and admire his techincal ability. But if you compare their all round game, then there is no comparision. Ask the top fifteen managers in the world who'd they rather have in their team rooney, ibro or fabiano and 15 out of 15 will say rooney. Rooney is such an indespensiable talent that no team, with all the money in the world will dare to approach united for his services. Ibro on the other hand has been at 5 european clubs and still cannot be considered established. Beenale, i'm sure you saw martin oneils assessment of ibrahimovic when he was a pundit fot the bbc during the 2006 world cup. Need i say more.

Berba is world class. Ibro is the fake version of this guy. For one reason or another it hasnt worked for him at united so far, but he has shown moments worthy of dreams. I agree berba is def up there, but people disregard because of his poor form for united. But when he was at tottenham, he was special talent, that touch, the assists, the goals were nuts.

I disagree with you, wayne rooney is way over rated. He is a product of the englsih media and their necessary hype to sell the english viewers the over priced english football. Rooney's whole game is based on aggression without it he is nothing but that aggression requires a willing referee, which he gets in the EPL. He gets away with murder in england, but when he plays outside the EPL for England or Man U, his outside his comfort zone and its clear for everyone to see his an average player with limited skills. Rooney is just a one trick poney a simple bull type player, who cost 30 mill when it was alot of money, but in my view never justified that amount of money. Strikers are judged on goals not how much the run around the pitch, otherwise the best player in the world would be dirk kuyt, cause nobody does more chasing of dead end balls then that guy...

General i agree to an extent. But if you assess rooney's game beyond the aggression he is superb. He can pass, shoot, finish and link up play well. His record for england is not caadi. I guarantee every manager in the prem league would swap rooney for their star striker with the exception of torres. Is that a lie? Yeas rooney is well protected and gets away with murder, but more times than not his game does the talking. That finish against tottenham just last week on goals like that volley against newcastle can only be done by special players.

106 goals in 244 appearances for Manchester United
28 goals in 55 appearances for England

Those stats tells you otherwise. Great stats. He can score and he does score. He does throw his tantrum once in a while but that's the personality and character that he is. I like his aggressiveness. That adds to his game.

And he's only 23 years old anyway. He can still improve and he will definitely be a key player for us in the World Cup.

Wayne rooney is an above average player in a fantastic squad his positive input will always be highlighted. But is Rooney as good as the english media makes him out to be and the answer is no. The EPL over the last couple of season was owned by a certain mr ronaldo, before him a certain mr henry, if wayne rooney is ever going to shine this is his time. I dont mean by proving how long he can run around without the ball, but score meaningful goals, at least over 30 in a season. I would personal rate Steve G far more then I would rooney, that boy their is quality..

I don't think the English media over-rated him that much. Do you live in England btw? Yes, the press rates him highly and rightly so. He's a damn good player. But over the years they have come to realize how far he can go and what his limitations are. Nobody is denying his weaknesses.

Besides, he will never be a 30 goal a season striker. Only very few strikers are that. And plus Rooney is not and out-and-out striker, he's more of a 2nd striker and gets involved a lot in the build up game so he's not in the box as often as maybe he should. He doesn't take free kicks nor penalties [bar this season now]. Henry and Ronaldo used to take every single penalty and free kick for their team, thus they added a lot of goals to their tally that way.

ibrahimovic is shit! i dont rate him at all
when martin jol was at spurs berba was on fire, cos he let him do what he wants to do. fergi needs to let Berba be berba the same way he let Cantona be cantona

Berbatov is the only player that makes me wanna play football every time i watch him.. he makes my feet itch

waar G-s.n.m, the reason the EPL was owned by Ronaldo iyo before him Henry.. cos Man utd and Arseanal game was all about Ronaldo and Henry. iyo like B-No1 said.. they used to take every pen and freekick.

but still Berba is the 1

Yeah I'm from the UK, yes the english media so over rates him to the extent that his dives are not classed as dives but actually fouls. He could sit on the side line and watch the game but the commentators would find something positive to say about it. Rooney is the darling of the english game, the media the FA, have to keep up this act for their self interest. You see my friend Rooney is un-proven outside UK, his performance in european games are average or below average. The points you have put forward to prove his worth are exactly what every Man U fan repeats, but strikers are judged on goals and in that test Wayne rooney fails. Everything else he does is secondary and should be treated as such...

I will state this Steve G and I'm not a liverpool fan, is a far better player and his proven it at a higher stage. That boy single handedly gave liverpool an underseverd champions league cup.

Ps, Henry was never to keen on Penalties...Out of his 5 seasons at arsenal, he was the top scorer in all but the first season. Penalties used to be shared between Bobby pires and the dutchman, Henry never use to take them.
As for Berbetov his another one of Spurs scams like Robbie Kean, I bet you next season they buy him back at half the price they sold him for. Spurs owned by jew's so they cant help being thieves like the jews.
