Okay, I'm not looking for Reer Waqooyi input, since to them all the tribes that exclusively live in the South are strange. e.g Rahanweyne/ Digil & Mirifle and Hawiye.


I can't help but notice how the Hawiye are despised ...excuse my ignorance but what are relations like between the Darood & Hawiye in those towns/ cities they share? and in the diaspora? No politics plss!! i mean what are the interpersonal relations like? Do they still intermarry or do they stick to their own? especially since the Hawiye are accused of ethnic cleansing by their Daarood neighbours. I hate to say this but I met a few Hawiye people and they always hid the fact that they are hawiye? it's like they think I might view them less favourably, especially the guys.
