When 1/3 of your military is in ruins, your country is broke to the bone and in new defecits due to a pointless endeavour that caused more harm than good and did nothing for the people in the Ogaden for the long haul... best believe that war ruined Somalia.

Ogaden war wasn't a pointless war. MSB tried to liberate our stolen lands from Ethiopia. The problems with African is they allowed Europeans to draw up artificial borders. The timing of the war was perfect after the collapse of the Ethiopian government. But MSB screwed up when it come to chooses sides in the cold war

Again, blame those Ethiopian loving Somalis NOT MSB
