Cali Gab, a law-abiding citizen, was recently arrested in Whitechapel – London – in the Metropolitan Police’s biggest drug raid to date. Forty Kilos of the Class A drug Khat, were sized. Along with four illegal immigrants, several wanted traffic offenders and a man who has not paid his Council Tax for the last twenty years.

Our reports spoke to members of the local Somali community and sent us the following exchanges:

“ Khat is a menace to our society and I am glad that this raid was successful” said Abdullah toothpick (who is suspected of owning a rival khat den).

“Ever since this drug was banned, my husband has become a lion in bed and I gave birth to six kids in a row. I wish they would lift the ban”, said a lady who refused to disclose her name.

“I used to chew khat when I was young but I gave it up, blud. It’s a long ting, ya get me. I drink Jack Danials now, blud”, said Jamaican Cabdi.

“Many beebol haf been drifen into Krime and Korrubtion ass a result of dis banning. Some eefin moo fed backi to Somalia”, said a respected community leader.
