unfortunately, some people cant pay for everything on financial aid so loans cover the costs of an education
and if you go to med school or law school, its all loans
in grad school its a little different, depending on the program, you could actually be paid to go to school

You should get married, and get your husband to pay it off. That's what one of my classmate did, lol.

Re: So I got this letter,
In those old dark days before electricity and computers, I was at University too. But we didn’t have to pay for fees back then. This still didn’t stop our classmate, Pepa, from getting a part time job as a stripper. Ah, the number of times we visited her place of work and joked about the size of her protruding buttons. Memories. Memories.Crazy Cat Lady wrote:^ Are you asking her to whore herself out to pay off her student loans?
(At least this one suggested marriage, which is very halal).
Re: So I got this letter,
Alxamdullilah I finished uni debt free,
I started uni in 2006 when the tuition fees went up to £3000 per year. I lived at home, covered my own expenses with a part-time job, and my parents paid the tuition. Half way through my studies I received a fat grant from Swedish board of education which is still in my account lol
If you want something keyr out of ur education, dont fund it with riba

Re: So I got this letter,
Shirib, I have heard a lot of you american fellas say that big businesses have paid for your tuition, I think it was somali boqor who saying how bill gates paid for his. How does that come about, is it a scheme they run for students, how did you apply. Seems unusual, almost unheard of in the UK.Shirib wrote:I would like to thank Mr. Jeff Raikes and the good people at US Bank for paying for my higher education.
I started in 2004 and alhamdulilah the fees were peanuts back then, kinda of unfair for new starters though. Are you swedish? My norwegian freind gets fully funded which is sick. Even if you move to the UK and live abroad they still fund your studies? do they assume that your coming back to sweden, if not how do they benefit?Executive wrote:Alxamdullilah I finished uni debt free,

I'm a swedish citizen and under Swedish law I am initialed to funding for any education I pursue after secondary school in sweden or aboard. The amount i get is equivalent to the tuition fee, so basically it didn't cost me to study at uni. They don't assume that I am coming back....
