Look at for example several Isaaq major clans like Habar Awal, Habar Yoonis , Habar Jeclo .
People think HJ is small because they live in a small land compared to let say Majeerteen who inhabit large chunks of Somalia.
but everybody knows HJ is really chinese in numbers, just the town of Oog is rivaling more than half of Garowes population.

Look at Habar Awal, just in Gabiley you find more people than whole Karkaar region .

when a clan is second largest in Somalias second largest city, not like you fourth largest in Somalias fifth largest town Galkacyo

Hawd: Dudub,Gheron,Islo Abdi,Bali tubale etc I can go on forever we go as far as Wardheer.

The same Ogaden you talk about is the ones, that have lost 90% of their land to Ciidgale and HY. From Lafaruug near Berbera were the Ciidgale took in the mid 1700 all the way to Aware near Dhagaxbur were they are know. Thats 400-600km.

Whats is Leekase, other than Ducaysane whos Reer abti is I have never heraed of them in Somali oral history, suuganta, gabay, and hees. They contributed nothing to Somali history they are useless langabs.

They are Tancade Darood, than Leekase they are as langab as Marixaan and Facaiye. They are definition of langab.

So, logical conclusion would be that the largest Somali clan Ogaden could'nt have lost 90% of their land to a small clan. From Burao, Hargeisa, Berbera, Oodweyne, as near as Caynaba were all Ogaden. Thats nearly all of Somaliland. Which the Garxajis conqured between 1600-1900 century's.

Garxajis are as large as Ogaden or a bit smaller.

The Ogaden 3 main sub-clans are:

1. Reer Abdeli
2. Reer Issaq
3. Makahill

My sub-clan Reer Sugulle have fought all 3 major segments of Ogaden and was victories. We boarder the Reer Abdeli near Nus Dariqa, the Makahill in Xodaya and Danood. And the Reer Isaaq south of Aware.

Firstly, Leekase dont settle in Hawd, Majeerteen are recent to Hawd as recent as 1940-50/60. Galaadi and Bokh were former Merexaan degeens that were vacated when the MX moved to Gedo and Somalia. The MX settled the MJ as they need'nt want the HY to expand further this was help by the 'Mad Mullah' son who was the minister of Interior for Haila Salasese in the 1940's. He armed MX, MJ, and Ogaden to fight a few clans of HY.

Jubba Xoose is Ogaden period. Beside Kismayo which is shared between, (Cyr) Habar Geider, MX, Oagden.

Thats leaves Bari, Mudug, and Nugaal. Bari forget, its not even MJ Degen. Bari is historically Dashishe iyo Dobase (Warsangalli) with minorites.
Nugaal is MJ with minorites such as Midgan and Awtarible.

Ciidgale in Todheer - Mostly, in Western Togdheer in Laba Sagalie, Camp Ogad, Haro Shiekh whuch they share with HY
Ciidgale in Hawd = This is their largest land area 10X bigger than the entire Leekase inhabited area put togdheer. From Degmo Aware of Dhagxbur which as 4 Districts Daroor, Rabaso, Aboker and Aware. To Qabri Dahri region of Qoraxleey near Nus dariqa.

Ciidagle inhabit 3 Gobols in Somaliland, Saaxil, Togdheer, and Waqooyi galbeed. 2 Gobols in Hawd with Dhagaxbur and Qoraxleey. With 2 Districts which are Ciidagle run, owned, controlled; Districts of Aware in Dhagaxbur and Districts of Salaaxley in Waqooyi Galbeed the 2nd largest region in the former Somalia.


Futhermore, Hargeisa is spilt into 4 Districts;

-26 June, Sacad Musa - 26% - North West Hargeisa
-Dunbuluq - Ciidagle - 24% - South East Hargeisa
-Gacan Libaax - HY - 23% - North East, and east Hargeisa
-Iftin - Arap - 21% - South West Hargeisa

6% minorites such as Ogaden, Gabooye, Mildhabaan..etc

thats is Reer Hargeisa, Waqooyi Galbeed was always:

1. Hargeisa - Mixed with the above clans.
2. Salaaxley Districts- Ciidgale
3. Gabiley Districts - Sacad Musa
4. Cadadaley Districts- HY
5. Baligudle Districts- Arap

Hargeisa is 1 Million inhabitants. Ciidgale automatically get 1/4.

Ciidagle in Hargeisa = Thats 250,000 populations of Ciidgale
Ciidagle in Salaaxley = 130,000
Ciidagle in Saaxil = 5,000
Ciidagle in Togdheer = 40,000
Ciidagle in Aware Districts in Dhagaxbur = 132,149
Ciidagle in Qoraaxley/ Korahe Zone = ? I dont know the Ciidagle in this region, but the totals region is Korahe has an estimated total population of 305,266. easily Ciidagle would get I assume 50,000.

Thats a population of easily over 642,149, based on figures published by the Central Statistical Agency in 2005. For Somaliland and Somali Galbeed.
