If am wrong i stay corrected.
Who is "we"? Marehan or Samaroon?

Ps, i do know its called AAYO and not EEDO but i thought some the kids in here might not understand it and i was trying to make it easy for them to understand.

 ok. Yes, the kids here may call every female relative an eedo. They are confused.
About Somalis clans, I dont even know why Somalis are fighting all the time then marrying the same people they like to fight. Seriously, I think they like to fight even more the ones they marry. Some sort of hate and love. A cousin of mine who got angry after being called fagash said to an older Somali woman: "why did you marry your husband knowing his tribe and make children who are half half if you are gong to blame us all the time?" My cousin is a half half and her friend the same.

Anyway, I dont call my reer abti by names.

Dumbass,it depends where you live and what people u live with. There are even israeli-palestinian marriages.
For example, the mudug people weither hutus or dooros or dir will may intermarry with each others ,in jubbaland the ilkayars with bantus and eelay,in benadir hutus with reerxamar.
This is the human nature.

Who are the Dooros? Darrod.
Who are the Ilkayars? Have no idea.

Can someone answer to my question above on the terminology used on Somalinet. I just want to understand what people mean when they use these nicknames for somalis clans.

I am still quite new to Somalinet and don't know many somali online communities other than the ones where the ones for djiboutians where everybody speaks French. I like this forum because it gives me access to a broader somali community.

Can you tell me about the Mejerteen and Warsangali. My grand mothers were from these clans. I know the Mejerteen was Ismaan Maxamuud but that's all. I also know the first president of unified Somalia was Abdirashiid Ali Sharmake a MJ. On the Warsangali, I don't know much other than my uncle who used do business in Bosaso before the war and who passed away after.
How are these clans doing today? I believe most of them are in Puntland. Do the MJ live in the Southern part of Somalia like the Ogaden and Marehan? Are they in the AlShabaabs? Hope my questions aren't too naive but hey I just want to learn.
