I am a muslim and refuse to follow a madhab or sect, for we are only to follow the quran and the sunnah of our beloved nabi (salallahu caleyhi wasallam). Teeda kale the Imams such as shafici, hanifa, etc. were scholars who gather together narrations(ahadith) and if one of them were to bring a narration that contradcited with the rest of them then they said to take the narration of the majority as the sahih one. Therefore insha'allah I would like to do more research on ahadith so that I shall only follow the sahih ones.
lastly I believe these sects that are apparent in Islam are a wicked way of dividing the muslim ummah, and I believe we were warned of this by rasuulallah(SAW).
