Meaning of WAAQ

Bareento, you remind me of those annoying iranians, who are embarrassed by islam and say they are muslim and believe in Allah, but have "respect" for their fire worshipping days. Have you ever seen an arab saying he is muslim but he has respect for Al'illat and Al'Uzza? What the hell are you talking about? There is only one god, He is Allah. Take it or leave it .

Laat and Uzzaa are deitys , arabs were polytheist
but Waaq is an Oromo name for GOD;
and Waaqism is a monotheist religion.

There was nothing monothesitic about worshiping spirits and sky gods as Waaq was prior to Islam. Somebody ban this fool. We have had enough of this corruption. Somalis are 100% Sunni Muslim people. We have no reason to witness this garbage.

and wat was Eebe before Islam?

I think u have little Iman, that is the case with most muslims who grow up in the West;
The best way to fortify you IMAN is read Qur'an as much as u can, learn about our Prophets (pbuh) life; and try to do good deeds (sadaqa , helping others, fasting etc...)
Everytime u feel like u r about to say ugly things say "acudu billahi mina shaytaani arrajjim" and think twice before saying ugly things.

It doesn't matter what Eeebe was before Islam. You won't catch a Somali even care, let alone want to respect what it was in jahiliyah. That is the difference. There is no pride for us in finding out what pagans and idols our ancestors worshipped before Islam. Nor will you find Arab Muslims, Asian Muslims, etc want to find out nor any other Muslims who have basically knowledge and aqeedah of the deen.

nothing wrong with that . but from what I understand waaq is not only a name for God, but also cult where people worship all kind of things. as it was a Pre-Islamic thing.
