Dhaga, you are conversing with a calm and measured Voltage who has had time to deliberate and reach a conclusion.

There was once a Voltage who was opining from Africa itself.
The Somali is screaming, yelling, acting uncivilized, and just plain irritating.

Where I wanted to come here so I can truly feel the impact of Somalinimo and being in my culture, I am left feeling jarred and more American than I ever thought of myself.

I cannot relate to these people.

We don't think the same way, we don't act the same way, we don't have the same culture. Period.

Clear the next step is to explain that statement if it actually meant something.

This has nothing to do with race. Just cultural backwardness and if you are proud to be a Somali this day then badow baa tahay and cultural backwardness is normalized in your eyes meaning you don't know better.

These are people who when I meet them I dont even look at them as equal let alone put them on a higher level. My man you suffer from a weak self esteem, you are not proud of being somali. That I cant help you with but the rest of us are proud of being somali, we dont assume as you do that bantu's are remotely equal to us..

Ps, get your medicine your tripping over to depression from bio-polar to depression its a very short journey...
Look at you. Is anyone surprised I said you have about as much brain cells as beetle dung? What makes you "superior" to Bantus? What makes Bantus not even "remotely equal" to Somalis?

Because Somalis are a little taller and skinnier? Because Somalis (some) have skinnier noses or lighter skins? By that token are we even remotely comparable to Arabs and on top of them Europeans since they personify the features that somehow makes Somalis "superior" to "Bantus"?

I mean what makes Somalis superior to ANYONE when the fact of the matter is Somalis have not developed a single invention in this world, when they don't have literary credentials, advancement of any kind in science and development? What gave Somalis a badge of superiority? What have Somalis ever contributed to this world besides being parasites who need to be feed and cared after by the tax dollars of hardworking average citizenry in Western countries who supply the coffers of the UNDP and the WFP?

My God, deaf, dumb, and blind comes to mine

Dude, face fact. Bantus are superior to us. Bantus may not be the most developed people on this earth but they are more developed then we are so they are superior to us in everything that matters..science, technology, civilization, respect for law and order, and every other facet of human description.

Somalis live no different than the baboons I saw in Kasane. At least the baboons had an organized system of living. Somalis don't even have that and the sad thing is they never did.

The only places in Somalia that I remotely feel connected to are Marka & Baraawe. Only because I was born there and spent many years in both cities, have fond memories of growing up there, etc. And maybe Diinsoor, since both my parents were born there and I still have relatives living there. I've never seen my "ancestoral/clan" land, so I'd be lying if I said I have some kind of a magical connection to it. But, that's just me.

Kismayo and Balanbale, I don't think I would ever want to live in Xamar again.
