What about the communities that lived there prior to the Somali refugees being resettled there? Were they paying rent to the owners? Utango was a farmland and it had people living there with their huts among the fruit trees and shit long before the Somalis arrived there.

The refugee camp in Holland i was in was much better.
We had a big television set and i watched the legendary world title wrestling match between Ultimate warrior & Hulk Hogan while you guys were queing up at Utanga and sleeping in tents :lol:

If only i could turn back the hands of time :up:

Nice pics!

I've never been to Kenya, we went straight to Egypt, Cairo. It was nice but it was so HOT. Then from there UAE, after few years there, we stayed few months in Italy, finally England. England doesn't have refugee Camps. :up:

Kenya . good old sweet Kenya

we lived in hotels at first Nairobi , since some relatoves lived there in 70's & 80s befoe the war..
lakin the majority of the fam stayed in south somalia trying to fight the anti-goverment rebels

That place had lots of snakes and ants.

It also had this BAHAL that looked like a train (many legs).

in somali it's called hangaraarac.

So, I guess im the only one who lived in Utanga in this WHOLE forum? Which means im the only verified Darood in this thing.
