Re: Reer UK - The Debate
I think Clegg did the best, although that point on Trident was a bit of a miss for me, but the schools part was spot on. Second I think was Cameron, though his point of 1 out of a 100 pounds was just lame and lacked any real analysis, but a good ending and probably the best one on the NHS. Brown - I didn't really like much and the point on needing government "waste" to stimulate the economy, meh under-analyzed.

I personally would say Labour and the conservatives have more similarities. Both center parties and their policies have few differences. Lib democrats are more left leaning on all social, fiscal and political issues.

Re: Reer UK - The Debate
Missed the debate and question time but sky plused both and will watch later inshallah.
Cameron is the biggest phony. The guy tries to come across as ordinary dave. Everyone knows he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, educated at eton and oxford and then rushed to the pinnacle of the conservative party. Fella then has all these photo and media sessions with senior citizens and avergae folks, who is he tryna fool. Also his proposed spending cuts have been exposed, leading economists claim that it will def lead to job cuts.
To be honest I dont agree with either party on social issues. In term of political issues such as crime, then I'm leading towards the tories. In terms of taxation then fock browns proposed increase in NI.
Really apathetic and unless something changes then i'll doubt i'll even vote.
Same story promise much but deliver little.

^^ Most of our politicians and judges have a privileged background...and if they dont, they quickly acquire it at University and their other circles.
Voltage...totally agree with Nobleman...Lib Dem are the most liberal...Labour used to be a workers party but under Tony Blair became an exact copy of the Conservative Party. You cant compare them to any of the parties in the States really...They are all generally much more liberal than both parties because British society is more ilbax generally than US society.
Hurrah for a Hung Parliament...vote Lib Dem!!

Re: Reer UK - The Debate
The ITV figures are:
Clegg: 43%
Cameron: 26%
Brown: 20%
Nick Clegg put in a very confident performance and i don’t think he made any errors that he made, high point of his political career. He did well but his success may not last. I dont think it will, half what he was arguing, i did not agree with, but he brought good performance.
Unnecessary comment made by Cameron about China
Cameron is trying to hard to win against Brown, he thinks Clegg is not a threat, but he should watch out, these two big parties might be in for a surprise, though i cant see lib Dems winning, unless the we vote for them.
And Brown was busy attacking Cameron

Unnecessary comment made by Cameron about China
"Are we really happy to say that we'd give up our independent nuclear deterrent when we don't know what is going to happen with Iran, we can't be certain of the future in China?"
