Stop tryna brainwash people. The only reason why the Somali divorce rate is sky high, is because people get married too quickly, when they're not ready.

Marriage is such an outdated institution in my view and I am telling you why . Women used to get married, because they couldn't support themselves financially. There were not many career opportunities for us and we had to settle down and breed babies. Now, we can become anything and everything we want to become. In some cases we have the opportunity to be much more successful than somali men . Now the tables are turning in a marriage. you guys are becoming househusbands while we are bringing home the hard cash. Soon, that number will grow and we will become the stronger, more successful, prominent and dominant gender. In return, we'll have the opportunity to be more selective and men will be the one begging us to marry them. I don't think women need to worry so much about getting married, rather than getting an education. It's important to live our lives, doing what we want, rather than staying home, popping out babies and depending on a man to take care of us financially. No man will love you as much as you can love yourself... The way to love yourself is to become the best you can career wise, education wise and financially. I love my freedom, my independence and my life in general. I don't see myself cooking, cleaning and babysitting a grown man with lugo yar yar iyo weji balaadhan oo weliba af xun oo nayaa dee cunto soo kari igu yidhaahda. A man's company is never and will never be a necessity for my happiness
