you got to understand that the name was not given by somalis but rather the former ethiopian emperor haile selaisie. The only purpose behind that logic is to divide somali clans and disrupt unity. This strategic has so far been successful and this is why ONLF and other clan related militia couldnt succeed against ethiopians because other clans dont feel included or see this as their own war. I do agree that the name should be change in order to have a successful independant movement after all OGADEN ARE NOT EVEN THE MAJORITY IN THAT REGION.

So whats stopping Somalis from forming one...There was a group that was calling yaa ayuhal Somaal called the UWSLF for years but they could not find one Somali to join them other than Ogadeen?
