Samatar is the most visible and highest ranking official. Once you nail a big war criminal like him, it will follow down to the minor fish.
Justice is coming
P.S. Civil suits are just as effective. Imagine seeing your personal assets being seized in a judgment and being forced to conceal your assets to avoid payment will force you to leave the states.
AW, this is not good news for all Warlords, iljeexs are not excluded

I'm Mareexaan and live in Ohio, USA. This isn't the UK. It will take less than 8 hours to collect 1 mill from the Mareexaan in Columbus alone.
AW
What about the mooryaans that macheted my own kin to death just because they happened to be Mareexaan? Or is 'justice' only reserved for non Daroods?

That would be your sorry camp bro. We was the victorious boys, who entered Burco, Hargeisa and all in between on top of tanks. I wasn't chased to my land like you by hungry Hawiye heathens.

GeneralSNM,
It was those Hungry Hawiye heathens who let you guys back into your towns. Without them, you'd still be running around the bushes insulting President Maslax Siyaad.

It will be hard saaxib, these iljeexs who participated in the 90's were not part of a formal govt but are rebels who hold no medals. AW, I want to find the man who slaughtered my two young abtis who were working on their cars innocently. Do you believe this kin of yours should be brought to justice?

At least the peace of sh!t is getting that which is more then his victims got from him. My question is dont you think your a hypocrite when you wont alllow a man accused to prove his innocence. Wa munaafaqnimo tasi, let him prove his innocence if he is innocent.
My issue isn't with Cali Samatar's guilt or innocence, he was part of the establishment, but so were many others. Samatar was not a commanding officer, he was not a general, most he did was hold a ceremonial position. But you had as leaders Cigaal, Tuure, Riyaale, etc who were all members of the same regime, men who never showed remorse for their role in the previous administration and never quit politics. Mark my words, if you stopped selective judgements and prosecuted every member of that establishment equally, we would all be behind it 100%. I doubt there's anyone of us who has fond memories of what took place in the north in the late 80s, it was a tragedy indeed, but we don't want double-standards either.

Grandpapa,
He will be sued by my friend inshallah. Living in the States and this case precedent regarding Samantar opens up the avenue to sue him

21 gun salute for the mujahid.
Ps, watch all the Darod fall of their chairs.
