The only thing I was saying with Beesha Issaq is bring me Issaq figuires that are known outside of Issaq deegan. Even figuires that would be known by Majerteen their neighbors, would suffice.
Actually even though we're near the Isaaqs, we literally have nothing between us. Marexaan and Isaaq have more cultural and political ties than they and us, fact. Despite our geography we know very little about Isaaq, we know more about Abgaal from Benadir and Gaaljecel from Beletweyn than we do about Hargeisa or Djibouti. Heck, we're closer to Habar Gidir politically and socially than Dulbahante.

But Oldenglish is right, Cigaal gets at least like 1% of his own, so that puts us at 94%.

grand- the Oman Sultanate had a heavy presence along the East African Coast specifically South of Mogdhushio around the late middle ages up until 19th Century. This was even around the period 14-17th Century where the Warsangeli Sultanate established an imperial empire where Southern Somalia was even colonized by them.

There was a Hawiye liberation front where they burned down Mogdhushio and not to forget the Ajuraan that accounts for 2%.

Is he talking about Ciigal thats 5% :?

Cigaal was one prime minister. Hawiye have had that. Heck even Tumaal Had that. But forget the Governments, they can make the arguement that there was corruption and power exlusion, but how about pre Gov Somalia.

Pre Gov Somalia- Northern Somalia was Warsangeli- that included Waaqoyi prior to the colonization and then from there middle age empires- Adal which isnt Isaaq.

Still they arent on the radar at all.

Thats My whole point though. Even though geographically Issaq and Majerteen are very close, if Issaq were not known there, how the heck would they be known in Beledweyne, Kismaayo, etc.?

About Cigaal, Yea He was by far the most bonafide, accomplished issaq politician.

About Omanis, I forgot about them, they take MAJOR credit for Somalia's history. They pretty much Had Somalia's coast thriving. Baraawe, Marka, Kismaayo, etc. They deserve special recognition.

No, Ali Samatar pre-gov was a prominent military officer who has also commanded the SNA during the Ogaden war, this man was no puppet and skillfully worked his way to the PM seat.
