Murux is simply propagating a specific historiography created and spread by the former regime and its sympathizers. This denial of Somali achievement is meant to both belittle and rewrite history in the attempt of creating or initiating an entirely bogus and false substitution of reality in which certain myths and characters are elevated and exaggerated while at the same time denying and erasing the real visible contributions made by Somalis who did not hail from certain groups.

Thankfully, reality is never is erased and history can never be denied.

Somalia was built and destroyed by Somalis and only Somalis can lead the way in the resurrection of what has been lost and make it even better. We are hopeful
