Reer Caweer were decimated in the battles of Bohol twice in 1988, 1989, Dararweyne in 1989, Shoodhe in 1989, and in Damala Xagare in 1991. The whole reer Caweer that some are bragging about don't even have 60 men left today Somalis say nin wax ogi hakuu waramo. Btw, some are dying for attention here that they are bragging about a minority clan that was not significant in the civil conflict in late 1980s and early 1990s. Their only town called Bohol was militarily occupied by Dhulbahante forces for 2 years. They only came back to the town after the peace agreements were signed with HJ. Since HJ was out of the war in January 1991 due to the peace agreements that they had with Dhulbahante, the so-called HY could not offer a fight back after the decisive defeat and crushing blow that was delivered to them in 1991 in Soolka Damala Xagare.

Is Darrin Garsit the same as Dhadhiin Mohamuud Garaad? If that is the case, it is Dhulbahante territory.

They mainly live in Ferdigaab areas, and southern sanaag also some can be found in coastal areas such as Xarshow iyo Erigavo District, their population is about 10-20k it's not a large sub clan but they are fierce fighters in warfare, and the clan they raided in xudun in eid day was naleeya ahmed - dhulbahante, and yes they did by themselfs using weapons they looted from the kacan regime , Reer Caweer means crazy eyed, their real name is Fahiiye Caweer.

1. Bohol in 1988. How you lost countless of your cousins in that territory.
