ciyal, breaking your fast because you feel hungry or because you missed suhr is something you do when you're 15. Mida kale, breaking your fast without a valid shariah reason is one of the major sins and one should feel remorse about their sin. You can't just say, " hey, i felt hungry, what the heck, i'll just do it again, is it ok,....". You have to make big tawbah- with the intention never to commit such an act again, make the fast again, free a slave or feed the equivalent of 60 people. This is how serious the issue is. Imam Dahabi said the one who breaks his fast without a valid excuse is worser than the one who consumes alcohol or commits zina. Allah knows best.
