The problem with the relationship between Somalia and Ethiopia is not one which cane be described using examples from relations between existing states whom are independent to choose to visit and develop there own policy instruments towards a particular country.Ethiopia is a major participant in the Somali conflict, they have actively armed warring parties and continues to have no regard for the borders of Somalia.They have created a Political landscape where they have enormous influence over the affairs of Somalia whether through vassal states whom they actively bolster, warring sides and members of the TFG.The extent of this meddling in the affairs of Somalia have accumulated to the level where no politician or group in Somalia can survive without directly creating links with Addis ababa and pursuing there blessing.If your not on this side of the Political scale then your obviously an obstacle to Ethiopian Interests(Al-Shabab,ONLF,etc),Theres no denying these fundemental facts.
