read this article "Hagigat is the latest in a line of legal drugs which add spice to Tel Aviv's already potent night life.
It means "party" in Hebrew and is derived from khat, a plant chewed in Somalia and Yemen for its amphetamine effect. Other legal drugs include "liquid energy", a test tube of viscous plant extracts, and amyl nitrate or poppers"

No doubt malawaax is that extra bit better than Canjeero/Laxoox (which always reminds me of looxo). I used to love Canjeero, personally.
Sabayad, is exactly what Siciid said, waa chapati lee. I hate it, because it hurts to make it, you use the finger tips to move it about.
Jamac yare,
That looks too dry out to be malawaax (which is actually soggy).
We (family) personally don't like our malawaax to be too oily, but in ramadan we would feed these Algerians and they LOVED malawax, and would insist we add lots of oil for the ones they eat. Lol

^^Stop the generalisation.
How about Xalwaada Stonebridge, reputedly the best Xalwo in London! (maybe UK). Reer Harlesden were complaining about how they use too much oil and that's why all Somalis like it.

Cali, Jamac, Seemeyer,
Apparenlty this malawax thing is just somali pancakes but more oily. I have pancakes but I don't know it as malawax.
However nothing smells better than a freshly made laxoox in the morning with a little subag on it and sprinkle some sugar and pour some shaah (not bagays, I prefer cadays)

Re: YA ALLAH, LAXOOX.
canjeero with shaah iyo subag is good. But mid o codka/muqmad leh special mid subagleh with shaah cadeeys on the side
Malawax is good too with shaah, reer waqooyi don't know what it is because you need ukun to mix the batter and we all know how dry that place is.

Re: YA ALLAH, LAXOOX.
Perfect_Order. It's not hard to make Malawax. You just need Plain flour, two eggs, milk, sugar, and little bit of water mixed. It's alot easier than making Canjeero, Kimiis.
