Marehan today, are neither losing and neither winning and they can express their status how they like as they are a top figure in Beesha Darood, through their courage, politics, history, land, wealth and people. So today you have no right as a Ogadeen to describe Marehan, as they have what they need accordance to the situation they are facing from Xamar and interferance of neighbouring hostile regions that led disadvantage for Marehan, but allhamdulilah we will wait until every neighbouring regions and the capital turns peaceful. So yes, Marehan are still in the same status they were in before minus the insecurity and hostility of no gaurantee security due to neighbouring regions let it be Gedo or Galgaduud or Jubooyinka, another problem I realised is that Marehan are spread out, from their main region Gedo to Galgaduud atleast 5 regions are between them, then comes Marehan in J/hoose and then Marehan in NFD and Marehan in kilinka 5aad etc, so this might be good for Marehan as they have large lands in different places, but the disadvantage is that it breaks Marehan apart and causes them to work for different goals specially Gedo and Galgaduud.
