I shave it because my work area is super strict about these things, and I don't want to pull the religion card just yet.

Haven't shave my beard for the last 8 months, and I'm planning to leave it like that. Even though I ain't a Sheikh, I'd like to look like one since I'm heading towards that way in the near future. Beard is really pretty, and I do liked it so far.

well my goatee grows pretty weird, one side grows longer than the other so I trim it to level out things.

I don't have sideburns/mustache yet

btw I never shaved in my life, havent had that experienced yet, do somalis get razor bumbs like madows?

I dont shave, i like to have a clean good length beard not too big, at the moment i trim my moustache and goate. I will advice you not to shave otherwise you will have a scrufy beard in the future that itches, so just trim and keep it cool.
