A quick question: is just a coincidence of names, or is he the same guy that was said to have preached that the Earth is flat in the other thread? (No disrespect for the dead guy, of course. I'm merely curious here because it was just last night that I first heard of him and now apparently he's dead to my surprise -- if it's him, that is).

Dr Yalaxow was obviously lying about him. He never made such statement. How can anyone make such statements let alone one of our most knowledgeable Sheikhs that has traveled all over the world?

My mum use to listen to Sheekh Cumar Faruuq since i was child till now. she is still listening to him. His great work will live on.
