War maxaa anaga nagu kalifaya inaan Canjeero nidhaaho, ma xabashi baanu nahay. I always thought, and still relate, Canjeero to Xabashi. IMO Canjeero = Xabashi food Laxoox = Somali :|

Canjeero is bigger than laxoox and if made with teff grass/flour. Laxoox is smaller and is not made with teff and doesnt have that unique teff taste :|

Canjeele = Canjeelo

Laxoox = (Somali) laxoox

They are wto different things and unless you actually eat canjero then you shouldn't be calling it canjeero; that is, unless you actually (traditionally) eat ethiopian canjeero.

Wrong! Canjeelo is a Somali word that the Habesha have copied from us. Laxoox on the other hand is an Arabic word and specificaly refers to a Yemeni crepe/pancake similar to canjeelo.

Yasiin Cismaan Keenadiid is well known among Somali elders, it's no suprising that he was a linguist since his father Cismaan Keenadiid had own his frigging SCRIPT called Osmanya. Don't oppose everything for the sake of it

Bullets when Yasiin made his dictionary in 1976 djibouti didn't even exist :lol:
