Every thing in that quote is past tense: men had this, women did that. All true but not really relevant today because women are also hunters and gatherers today and although status is always important, lets be honest how much status does the average Somali man have?

Since you made the comment "Don't ruin it for them sxb maybe they think they can handle life without a man" and then said that men today can do practically nothing which a woman would be expecting, I am impolitely but honestly calling you on it; what exactly does a man do for a woman? You still haven't answered my question. How does having a man make my life better or easier especially if he's not doing the stuff that I need done?

Its not a physical something that women need from men, its just a natural need they require. This is because deep down in the psyche of women they fear they can't survive alone. Even when they are materially independent they still long for the support and protection of men. That is why females will always feel dependent on men, even when you have everything in life, women always feel something is missing and worry why they don’t have a man.

So men are useful to women because women think they need men even when they don't and that is because men were hunters and gathers during cave man days?

Dude that is a really dodgy reason. You were better off saying that men and women making lives together was the intended design of life. But then if you said that you would have had to accept that the need is a two way street. :p

Man was lonely and incomplete despite being in the garden, so Allah most high created woman from himself, and it did not diminish him but rather completed him and brought tranquility to him. Woman was created as a mercy to man, yet she is not any less than man nor is her sole purpose only for man. In our most perfect manifestations we are

They (your wives) are your garment and you are a garment for them. (2:187)

And among His signs is this, that He has created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquility with them; and He has put love and mercy between you. Verily in that are signs for those who reflect. (30:21)

Women weren't created to be independent. Obey Allah and his Messenger.

Thats the thing, the guy was a punk for saying that. I mean He knows She needs Him, She knows She needs Him, why does he have to rub it in and box her into a corner?

Growing up in a male dominated household I was always taught when girls/women have those moments, its best just to leave them alone for a little bit

All this talk of independence is full of crap.

Ask someone whos been in all situations;
Part: was single and working that is equal indenpendence right... but still something was missing.

Part2, married but no kids, the best time of my life, happy in every single part of my but i still wanted complete family .... kids

Part3. Married and kids. To be honest the only days, I am truely happy is the day we are all together, husband and kids and me being in the middle of them, seeing them all playing together is the best moment and i would do anything to have that always.

Part4. unfortunately part 3 doesnt always last.....its sucks.

SO girls u can always prompt this indenpence life style but we all know the truth and that is every women wants one big/small family and a man to be present. end of the story.

Part5: I fucked it all up because i wanted even more, and now men dont want me because they think i'm not a good wifey material and i got a baggage

Part6: Now i'm itchy single again, and something BIG is missing

Conslusion: Even those iam not a single mother (even thought i tryed) but my husbands knows he could never replace me and find someone like.
And Inshallah i know finally i will get what i want from him
But Even if i seek another relationship in the future my children will not be a baggage to me and anyone who does can go to hell.

So some idiots like Old dusty can try their luck, But No thanking u.
