Cirwaaq you are getting ahead of yourself..
Those unionists consider the 1960 union null and void, they consider somaliland just a collection of northern gobols just like Mudug and Lower Jubba
The share of seats in any proposed union will be less than what Somaliland had in 1960.
Even after somaliland was cheated out of its rightfull share, they wish to grant us a much lower share than what we got in 1961...
Do you understand the distance between us...
We are not on the same planet politically..
and there can be no reconciliation realistically speaking for another generation at least.

Besides the
4KM Gang there is nobody South of Mudug, a land you share no borders with that has any issue with what ever you wish to do with your land.
He has spoken on many occassions and always positive about supporting whatever path you follow. Recognition is in the hands of your leaders and their actions.

What if they all say we want to be part of Somaliland , what would you do ?I agree with juzme in a certain sense . In the union of the former british Somaliland and the Italian Somaliland to form Somalia , we all know which entity failed us . Now what if some reasonable southern somali would say "I'm well aware of it and I am taking responsibility for it , but let's try it once again in a different configuration this time and all unite under your banner , Somaliland ."
What would you do or say ?
Then inshallah when Somaliland is prosperous and economically booming we will give them asylum like the west. They are saying "Somalidiid" now, but later they will be begging us.
