For Somalia, that is like saying an American Democrat has "liberal" credentials. I think that those things are not beyond the norm for the respective places mentioned. I think the world realizes Somalia will have an Islamist-oriented government which is why the former ICU leader was made president and Somalia's parliament has the distinction of being the only parliament that passed a law stipulating Sharia Law is law with the support of the international community. :|

Voltage, do you agree that Somalia should become a trusteeship, that is basically what the writer is asking for. i dont agree with this, the divisions we face today is a result of previous trusteeship and occupations by forieng empires. do you think if they do it again the outcome would be better :?
Somalia must be a trusteship... there is no other option
in an ideal world a nation would take another nation under its arm and have no ulterior motives, we dont live in that ideal world. and it could not be more obvious in Somalia as todays conflict in the horn is a direct result of previous colonialism and neo-colonialist trusteeship. it really does not matter which nation it is, Turkey today will replicate what the european did, the outcome will be the same, they will craete a political situation for the nation that allows them to exploit its resources indefinitely, no development just systematic robbery.

Islaax is 100 times more productive than the al-itixaad parasites. Al-itixaad had the keys of a seaport for two years, until today it's unknown where the port revenues went and islaax built several Universities and orphan schools with their meager resources. I've met several islaax leaders aswell as al-itixaad ducaat, walle the Islaax ones seem to be more educated

I am actually a big time supporter of AL-Islaax and honestly consider myself one. Al-Islaax seem to be moderate, religious, educated, and at the same time bridged the gap between modern world secular education and Islamic theology better than any other group.

Ahlu Shiekh was born out of Islaax following the MSB crackdown on the Ikhwan Movement in the 1980s, after their leader was arrested, the current Islaax changed courses and formed their own group. Meanwhile, the reminents of the old Ikhwan Movement stuck with their old leader and this is why they are known as " Ahlu Shiekh." but both are part of the Islamic Brotherhood of Egypt

Samadoon,

I have no idea, aniga Ikhwan is the same to Me. Manhajkooda waa wax clear ah and it is basically Diinta in mar siyaasad la dhexgeliyo when it is beneficial. Btw, Ahlu Sheikh like all these other ururo kala duwan are not like anyone just come in. Waxay leeyahiin a amiir, Bayco baa dadka laga qaada, the whole 9. I know first hand a couple TFG MInisters I know personally (through family) who are part of this.

Abdalla11,

Wixi wanaag ah ee samayeen Ilahay ha ka jaazayo. Still though these axzaab kala duwan only succeed in pushing people furthur and furthur apart instead of uniting them. Soomali 20s baa lugu haayay "Qablaayada waa sun...Qabiil fa'iidho malah" blah blah....then Somalidu waxay si wada jir ah u waba galeen 200 different ururo "Islaami" ah and now they are fighting each other, and hate each other 100x more then they did markay qabiil isku dagaalamayeen. Qabiilo waa la heshisiin karaa laakin side loo heshisiin groups is takfiiriyo, is laayo in magaca diinta. So unfortunate and sad. On top of all that, cidi ka dhigo ama ka hadasho this tafriiq ummada Soomalida lugu sameeyey waxaa loo adeega kalimada "Jadiidi"
