Those dust inactive subforums serve some purpose. They are not the problem....

The problem is that you guys don't know much about online bulletin boards. When you post a new topic you should put it in where it belongs - it is as simple as that. For instance, if you want post a very valuable information about relationships or how to raise a child, you guys just put it in the general section only to be buried within hours instead of taking the time to see where it fits properly. How many thousands of educational topics have been buried in the general? Had we used these forums properly anyone who wanted to read health/sports/history/politics/ertc related topics could simply go to the right section without searching through thousands of posts.

The problem is NOT those forums but YOU jumping on the online bulletin boards wagon without understanding how it works.
IT IS VERY WRONG TO PUT ALL DIFFERENT SUBJECTS ON ONE FORUM.

You guys should learn how to use online bulletin boards...... we are not in suqa bakaraha anymore! If you guys used these forums properly, we could have a very easy way to pull out threads by category If you are sports enthusiast you could simply hangout in that section and make somali friends with similar hobby.

Because of our nomadic lifestyle, moderators' inability to tell you how and where to post, we ended up having unorganized, uncategorized chaotic mountain of information. 3261posts per day on one section of the forum!
