A Somali can't survive in the baraf without government help but White people survived in the Miyi just fine in Australia, the American West, the South American deserts, India, South Africa & Rhodesia. They win.

Listen, Murax stop generalising.

Honestly, I do MAJOR fixing and 'DIY' Do It Yourself around my parents house. From painting, to fixing broken cupboards, tiling and yes gardening too. We had a tool box too! I admit that with the gardening we haven't done any major work? Like a planted some plants at the front of our house but thats it. But in the back garden it is just taking out the weed, and inshaAllah this summer we are getting it done professionally with me helping the man. (That way we are getting a discount).

And it is funny you say plant food in their garden, because this man works for many Somalis, and before us he did this ladies back garden and he helped plant some food. I do think you have some point, I noticed my brothers when he is doing something around the house, they have no interest whatsoever to observe what he is doing? And I pointed this out to my youngest brother, like look at what that man is doing, and learn it from him so you too can fix stuff around your house. Did you know that before you paint a door (all wood areas), you should sand it and make it smooth, and there is even a machine you could do that with? And if there is cracks in the wood you need a filler, after it dries you need to sand it again, then use an underpaint first, then a gloss wood paint! So, not everyone is jaahil, or doesn't like to take interest in this.

The way I see it, you need to have LOVE for beautifying your surroundings, and if you don't have any MONEY to spend on getting people to do it, you will do it! I loved fixing from a young age, and didn't have £200/300 for somone to tile one wall, so what did I do? I did it myself! And this is essentially one of the reasons Cadaan people do it, they take great pleasure in having beautifu house, in most cases they bought it, so in fact they don't have money to spend on someone to fix every problem around the house, so they do it.

I commend cadaan men for their hands-on approach to their houses, but it is simple logic for them to do that.

- I can only speak for Somalis and say that the majority of men don't do fixing around the house, but from what I know they never did it back home too. It was always the lady who did a major bulk, all the man did was bring the food home.

You can say present day "cadaan" folks have it together; however, they went through the same things that "Arabs, Somalis, and other blacks" are going through right now around the world....think of the famine and civil war of Albania and of Bosnia, think of what the Irish went through when Britain was controlling their land and economy, think of the great depression...and how it hit so many Western (predominately White) Nations....

Of course Bosnians and Albanians aren't fully white, but they r considered "white" haha
