Sakiin is damn good. So now the option is Farmaajo resigns or elections...if that's the scenario, looks like Sakiin is winning at this. Either way doesn't look like Farmaajo will be here much longer.

Didn't u hear wat Farmaajo said, he said if the leaders don't agree, the elders and cultural will take over, and don't forget those elders and the people are his control remote, they love farmaajo.

Regardless no way in hell is that man going to Win the election.

I still think the Prime Minister is going to come out on Top and than maybe he can get rid of this useless President and bring in someone of the same stature as him.

If elections were to happen today, Shariif Hassan would win a land slide. He has the ARS on his side and he has the warlords. But it all really comes down to who the west wants.

Shirib would love to see the day Sharif Hassan becomes president. I also think that Farmaajo will somehow come on top. Both Sharif Hassan and Sheikh Sharif seem desperate. The same meeting they were attending, the ICG, basically said the same thing the UN said..elections have to happen. There is no way Sheikh Sharif is going to get an extension, I really don't know what Sharif Hassan's motivations is but ever since he realized the UN was using him and at first refused to be part of the Mogadishu meeting scheduled soon, he seems to have changed heart in trying to oppose at least Sheikh Sharif. Maybe his acceptance of Sheikh Sharif being president for one more year means he realized the powers that be never wanted him to replace the president.

If i remember correctly Warlord's are irrelevant in Somalia today and they can be found in Prison sooner than later and everyone who is sane enough know's that Sharif Hassan has zero chance of ever becoming President. Am still going to bet on Farmaajo winning and convincing that useless President to stick to the decision of not allowing Sharif Hassan into the Cabinet. Even as an outsider who is clueless about Southern Somali Politics just by listening to him and reading the Prime Minster's Press Conference, he is the only hope you people have now.
