So, unless this guy opens his mouth and shows his positive intentions towards Puntland I think he's a joke. We need a guy who is cooperative with the Faroole regime and has his heart set on Puntland's progress. Qabiil is not a factor and never was, we just need a candidate who values Puntland.
Duh! Because the other 2 " Puntlanders" were Dhulbhante & Owrtable while this guy was MJ. Faroole was right. I agree with him.
Actually they are Dhulbahante and Leelkase.

Monk
Qabiil is a factor for Faroole, why else would he would disown the Leelkase and Dhullos minister and endorse the MJ one?

And many Puntlanders to become very pro-TFG, even though Puntland was boycotting TFG a couple months ago
i doubt that will happen unless the tfg changes it's behavior and attitude towards puntland. no true puntlander will support the tfg whilst it's anti-federalism.

D-Runner;
Can you elaborate on calling this guy a "Dr"? Why are you doing a disservice to the real doctors who have sacrificed so much in getting their PHDs, MDs, JDs and so on.

All this dude has is a Master of Public Administration degree from Harvard; just to want remind you that our own FAH123 will join him in the category of Somai MPAs in about two years.
Fah123 MPA; class of 2013
Abdiwali Mohamed MPA; Assistant professor at a local community college.

Wait a minute Puntland is part of Somalia and there should not be a problem if the prime minister comes from Puntland.
TFG is not A hawiye Administration or daarood or rahanweyn its the transitional federal government for the Whole Country.

If Sheikh sharif wants to have good relations with Puntland and the people of north Somalia he should not exclude them all they ask is federalism to be fully implemented in Somalia and no Bulshitting.

But they are a fifth column bot working for Somalias interest. It's like us placing a guy in the TFG and him being a loyal SL supporter working for our interest.

I take these comments back; respect to the Dr. Ali and my apologies to the Beesha Dhabayaco...I just checked and Dr. Ali indeed has a PHD:

Sorry Fah123; you may want to continue your education after your MPA for another 5 to 6 years to be in the same category as Dr. Ali. Well by then you would be wearing Steve Urkel style eye glasses:

Puntland is part of Somalia only in name. They have a separate flag, a separate president and anybody from southern Somali will be deported and has not rights.

Fyi, this new PM is a die hard Puntlander  I am sure he will help this region along the way... and of course, reer pland are after the presidential chair... lol why not.. lol

I was there last year and agree tyhat many Somali flags fly in PL than the rest of Somalia today. Abdweli is also well-educated, nationalists who has the best intention in his country. If he is nominated to be the next PM and confirmed, expect the legacy of Farmaajo to continue.
